This short free concert offers a foretaste of Advent and Christmas to mark the opening of the Cathedral Christmas Market.
The cathedral’s professional choir of boys, girls and lower voices will present a concert A Foretaste of Christmas, conducted by David Hardie and accompanied on the organ by Ashley Wagner.
The music will lead us from Advent through to the threshold of Christmas, a mix of familiar and less familiar choral gems, getting us in the mood for Christmas but leaving us wanting more.
Admission is by donation on the door in aid of the Cathedral Music Fund.
