Southwark Cathedral is to bring back a day of heritage and mudlarking for visitors to explore!

Visit the churchyard for demonstrations and crafts that were used to build London, or head into the Cathedral to discover objects found by mudlarks on the Thames foreshore.

Southwark Cathedral is excited to bring back a day of heritage and mudlarking for visitors to explore!

Meet mudlarks and the craftspeople, watch demonstrations, handle ancient artefacts, talk to archaeologists, antiquarians and conservationists, listen to authors, or take part in family’s drop-in activities! There is something for everyone. What’s happening:

This event will run from 10:00 to 16:00 with last entry at 15:30. Tickets are available in advance via Eventbrite, a small number of tickest will be available for walk ins, however we recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
