Peterborough Cathedral is getting ready to welcome visitors to Travelling Bricks this summer – an exhibition made of over 1 million LEGO® bricks celebrating creativity, engineering and imagination.
LEGO® Travelling Bricks comes to Peterborough Cathedral
Travelling Bricks features 120 models across 60 scenes featuring four key zones, Air, Land, Sea and Space. Highlights include a 7.2-metre-long Titanic, a towering 3-metre rocket, a detailed Boeing 747 and famous historic vessels including HMS Victory and SS Great Britain.

It opens in the cathedral on July 18.
There is also an interactive building zone featuring more than 200,000 LEGO® bricks, giving children and adults the opportunity to create their own masterpieces and there’s a giant soft bricks playland with oversized building blocks for younger visitors.
This summer visitors will also be able to see Titanosaur, The Natural History Museum’s giant dinosaur installation is now on loan until 13th September and stands watch under the Cathedral’s central tower.
Paul Stainton, Head of Marketing and Communications for Peterborough Cathedral said:
“This is shaping up to be our biggest summer yet at Peterborough Cathedral. With both Travelling Bricks and Titanosaur under one roof, families can easily spend hours exploring, learning, playing and creating memories together right in the heart of the city.”
The city is offering four hours parking for the price of two this summer to encourage more visitors and boost the local economy.
