Salisbury Cathedral is pleased that this year’s organ series will be opened by Max Carsley, former organ scholar at Salisbury Cathedral and currently Assistant Organist at St Mary’s Cathedral Edinburgh. Max will play a varied programme, including Karg-Elert’s “The Sun’s Evensong, 7 Pastels from the Lake of Constance” – The “Pastels” are vivid musical representations inspired by impressionistic scenes from the Lake of Constance. He will also play works by Whitlock, Hollins and Alain.
This event is organised by Salisbury Cathedral.
