BBC Songs of Praise will come from Bradford Cathedral this Sunday celebrating the city’s status as UK’s City of Culture for 2025.

Presenter Aled Jones meets The Very Rev Andrew Bowerman, Dean of Bradford to discover what that status means to him and the city.
The Dean takes Aled to Bradford City’s football ground to introduce him to a specially formed choir with a difference – it’s made up of his fellow football fansincluding members of the cathedral congregation, who have been brought together to represent and sing for their city!
There’s specially recorded music including four hymns from Bradford Cathedral and an exploration of New Voices Bradford, and the Science and Media Museum as the programme looks at how faith and the arts are coming together to showcase this multicultural city.
