On 5th September 2026, get ready for a night of timeless classics as Elvis by Candlelight comes to Wakefield Cathedral. Set within the breathtaking surroundings of the cathedral and illuminated by atmospheric candlelight, this spectacular live show celebrates the music of the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll.
Featuring one of the UK’s leading Elvis tribute artists alongside an exceptional live band and backing vocalists, this high-energy performance brings Elvis’s greatest hits to life. Audiences can look forward to favourites including Jailhouse Rock, Suspicious Minds, Devil in Disguise, The Wonder of You and many more, all performed in a truly unique and memorable setting.
Beatles by Candelight. 30th October 2026, direct from London’s West End, featuring a spectacular cast of West End Singers and epic live band, Come Together for a Magical Mystery Tour, jam packed with Beatles hits, as you have never heard them before!
This incredible show features best loved songs including Help!, Hey Jude, Let it Be, All You Need Is Love, Yesterday and many more, all performed live at the beautiful Wakefield Cathedral, by candlelight.

Finally, on 14th November 2026 experience an unforgettable evening of world-class musical theatre as Voices of Valjean by Candelight comes to Wakefield Cathedral.
Starring three extraordinary West End performers who have all played the iconic role of Jean Valjean in Les Misérables, this spectacular concert celebrates some of the greatest songs from the world’s best-loved musicals. Accompanied by a full live band, audiences can enjoy music from Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon, Chess, West Side Story, Jesus Christ Superstar and many more in the breathtaking surroundings of the Cathedral.
