Regency candlemaking – celebrating 250 years of Jane Austen
Join us for a refined afternoon of Regency candlemaking, inspired by the timeless scents of an English garden, capturing the florals and botanicals Jane Austen herself admired and mentioned in her literature.
Led by Laura Fisher’s expert team of luxury candle makers, you will be guided through a sensory journey of seasonal fragrances before hand-pouring your own bespoke candle collection to take home. We will also have the Laura Fisher pop-up shop, so you can browse and take home some lovely gifts.
As your candles set, take a moment to relax with a slice of homemade cake and a perfectly brewed tea, enjoyed within the peaceful, historic setting of this iconic cathedral.
Your experience includes:
• A candle-making masterclass with Laura Fisher and her expert team
• 1 20cl luxury soy wax candle and 6 premium soy wax tea lights
• Tea & homemade cake served in the cathedral’s serene surroundings (soft drink option available as an alternative and cake option for those with allergies will be available)

Please note that there is no parking available on the Cathedral estate, so please leave adequate time to park your car and find the workshop space.
