Everlasting God, we pray for our new King.
Bless his reign and the life of our nation.
Help us to work together
so that truth and justice, harmony and fairness
flourish among us;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
The formal proclamation of King Charles III as monarch will take place today in a ceremony at St James’s Palace in London.
Proclamations will follow on Sunday in Belfast, Edinburgh and Cardiff.
For the first time the public will be able to watch the proclamation live on television.

All cathedrals will be open throughout the weekend for people to sign Books of Condolence, offer prayers, light candles or simply just to be.
There will be priests and chaplains available for you.
