Salisbury Cathedral – Organ Prom

30th July 2026

Salisbury Cathedral’s popular Organ Prom returns this summer on Saturday 8 August, and is inspired by the Cathedral’s theme of Joyful Noise.

Salisbury Cathedral – Organ Prom – Salisbury Cathedral – 08 Aug to 10 Oct 2026

The Organ Prom is a relaxed informal evening, where the audience has an opportunity to wander around the beautiful Cathedral, enjoying a drink while listening to a mix of music, from organ classics to film music and popular songs.

It is part of the cathedral’s 2026 Organ Series which features a range of talented musicians and a wide repertoire across four evenings, with performances from Max Carsley, Maurits Bunt, and David Hill.

The series opened earlier this month and next up is the Dutch organist Maurits Bunt who will perform works from the Renaissance to the Romantic period on Saturday 19 September on the 1877 Father Willis Organ as well as the 2025 Klop Chamber Organ, to better reflect the organs heard during the Renaissance period.

Closing the 2026 Organ Series is the internationally renowned conductor and organist David Hill. Known to local audiences from his time as Master of Music at Winchester Cathedral, Hill has gone on to achieve international renown as Conductor of the BBC Singers, The Bach Choir, Associate Guest Conductor of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and as Principal Conductor of Yale Schola Cantorum.

Tickets are available online or through the Cathedral Box Office, open Monday-Friday 10am-4pm.

For visitors with access requirements, or if you require an essential companion to accompany you, please contact the Cathedral Box Office to book your tickets.
