Stewart Alderman – St Edmundsbury Cathedral – Director of Enterprises and Health and Safety Lead

He is currently the volunteer Director of Cathedral Enterprises, overseeing St Edmundsbury Cathedral’s Restaurant and Shop, both of which are flourishing.

He is also the Chapter lead on Health and Safety matters, currently working with an external company to ensure that, in August, we can offer the first Cathedral tower abseil safely. Stewart is not afraid to take on new roles which might not immediately appeal.

He also helps organise pilgrimages. Stewart is a well-loved and respected member of the team with his friendly, easy-going yet highly professional manner.

He has been a constant, reliable volunteer with a calm approach and warm smile.
