For three nights only from Monday 26 October to Wednesday 28 October, Manchester Science Festival will be bringing some of the most popular sci-fi films and series of the 21st century back to the future against the stunning medieval backdrop of the Manchester Cathedral’s medieval quire.
A large audience of E.T. fans of all ages will be waiting for the moment E.T. calls home on Tuesday night with ‘Back to the Future‘ making up the second part of this great double bill. Do not miss the DeLorean car and photo-booth which will take up residence outside the Cathedral all evening.
Wednesday is Red Dwarf night with six of the best loved episodes from its 20 year run handpicked by show creator Doug Naylor.

We are delighted to be part of the Manchester Science Festival for the first time in our history and looking forward to celebrating our science heritage next year as Manchester becomes European City of Science 2016.”
