Join Professor Jane Heath from the Department of Theology and Religion at Durham University on this specially curated tour of the Marian Art in Durham Cathedral.
The tour will focus on depictions of Mary around the Cathedral and examine the relationship between scripture, theology and art including the Annunciation, the Pieta and our best surviving medieval wall paintings.
On the following Saturdays: 19th July, 16th August, 20th September, 22nd November and 16th December. Booking required.
