Join us for a reflective and meditative afternoon at the Cathedral to reflect and pray on the day of Brimingham Pub Bombings anniversary.
In the first hour, there will be a handover of a bespoke bound copy of Commemoration book ‘Remembrance and Reflection – The Birmingham Pub Bombings’ to the cathedral. It will include words from two of the younger people featured in the book and other contributors of the book.
The second part is a session of reflection led by The Reverend Canon Andy Delmege, Canon Missioner of Birmingham Cathedral, Maureen Slattery-Marsh from the Birmingham Spiritual Direction Forum and Revd Elaine Hutchinson. With poems reading by Paul Palmer, reflection and prayers, this will give people a space to pray and think through the spiritual challenges following from terror attacks.
