Join us for a fun-filled adventure as one of our friendly volunteer guides leads you on a captivating tour of the Cathedral’s creatures, inspired by the Church of England’s #GreatAndSmall summer campaign.
Discover centuries-old carvings and hidden details featuring animals, both real and mythical – from otters and squirrels to mermaids, dragons and unicorns. Along the way, you’ll learn about the symbolism behind these curious creatures and uncover the surprising stories of why they appear in a place of worship.
Free to attend – suggested donation: £6 per adult / £4 per child (under 16). Perfect for curious minds of all ages, this tour departs from the Font and lasts approximately 30-45 minutes.
