Ely Cathedral – Home and Garden Show 2026

17th June 2026

More than 120 exhibitors, a mini Flower Festival, live entertainment, expert talks and demonstrations are among the highlights of this year’s Home & Garden Show taking place this week at Ely Cathedral.

Ely Cathedral - Homes and Garden Show

The Home & Garden Show returns for its second year bringing together a mix of exhibitors, expert advice and unique shopping opportunities for visitors.

And for the first time this year there is a mini flower festival in the Cathedral’s 14th-century Lady Chapel.

Several regional flower clubs and guilds have come together to create a floral extravaganza entitled The World in Bloom.

The exhibition will feature seven displays, each inspired by one of the world’s seven continents.

Judy Wynn, who alongside Roger Woolnough and Mary Foister, created the design concept for the show said

“It has been several years since Ely Cathedral last hosted a flower festival, making this a particularly exciting addition to the Home & Garden Show. The theme was chosen as a nod to the World Cup, and visitors can expect to see some amazingly creative displays using an array of unusual plants and flowers which are native to each area”.

Attendees can explore an extensive range of garden plants, tools, outdoor furniture and outdoor living products, alongside stylish homeware, soft furnishings and decorative accessories for every living space.

Reflecting the event’s growing popularity, 40% of exhibitors are taking part for the first time, including several who have previously showcased their work at the prestigious RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

A full programme of  talks and demonstrations by leading experts including Jon Wheatly, Vice President of the RHS, and Nick Grounds from NAFAS, will be held in a seated marquee in the 12th century Bishop’s Garden.

The event runs over two days, Friday 19 and Saturday 20 June, and will be spread throughout the Cathedral’s  interior, its grounds, and the rarely accessible Bishop’s Walled Garden.

Advanced tickets are only £10 and can be purchase online. On the day tickets are £12 and can be purchased at the event but are subject to availability.
