Bristol, Chichester, Durham cathedrals and St Davids Cathedral from the Church in Wales have all been named on Which?’s list of best UK days out for free.

Over 4,000 people took part in the Which? survey of the UK’s best museums and more than 3,000 told them about their favourite historic attractions.
Durham Cathedral – described by travel writer, Bill Bryson as the ‘the best cathedral on planet Earth’. was the highest-rated cathedral with 86 percent of the votes.
St Davids in Wales gained 80 percent, Chichester Cathedral scored 77% and is the only attraction in the county of Sussex to make the list and Bristol Cathedral scored 68 per cent with Which? travel team advising visitors to make sure they get there in time for Evensong!
